Chapter 3 One Extra Baby
"Mommy, I want to pee."
Gabrielle was about to leave when she heard the anxious voice of one of her children.
She turned around and looked over.
It was the third child in the row on her right, whose face was red and eyes were rolling around, looking smart and mischievous.
"Mommy, I almost cannot resist."
He was the third oldest, named Mike.
Gabrielle hastily put down her suitcase and said, "Mike, don't worry, mommy is taking you to a bathroom."
"Mommy, I want to!"
"Me too!"
Two more children raised their little hands.
Gabrielle was a bit amused at the picture that her sons went to the bathroom like a small team.
"Okay, okay, Harvey, Louis, don't worry, mommy's taking you there now."
"Yeah, yeah!"
Gabrielle looked at the left three, "Yankee, Tony, Jacky, what about you?"
The three little ones shook their heads obediently, "Mommy. We don't want to."
"Okay." Gabrielle nodded and told the three to stay where they were while she took others to the bathroom.
"Mommy, not the little skirt." Mike cutely refused.
The "little skirt" naturally referred to the sign of the women's washroom.
"Neither do I!" Harvey Zane and Louis refused in unison.
Mike, Harvey, and Louis were the most mischievous and active with the six sons' imaginative ideas.
Gabrielle asked helplessly while looking at the three boys who were so anxious and resistant, "What do you want then?"
Mike blinked and said first, "I'm already three and a half years old. I'm a little man now! I want to go to our boys' bathroom like my uncle."
"Me too." Harvey and Louis said at the same time.
Gabrielle looked around, finding that there was no one near them. She said, "Okay, you go to your boys' bathroom, and Mommy will be at the door. Don't run away."
"No problem!"
Gabrielle watched the three little ones go into the bathroom and raised her wrist to look at the time.
Luckily, the plane had arrived early, and she should arrive in time for the interview in the afternoon.
A soft voice sounded behind her when she was thinking.
"Pretty Ms, can you come in and help me?"
The sound almost softened Gabrielle's heart.
She subconsciously turned around.
It was a cute little girl poking her head out of the door of the women's bathroom.
She was about the same size as her boys, with a palm-sized little face and watery big eyes, as if they could talk. She had her hair on the top tied like a small ball with see-through bangs, looking pure and lovely sweet.
Gabrielle's eyes shone with excitement at once!
Her girl!
She had pictured countless times that if her daughter were still alive, she would dress her up beautifully, and the little girl in front of her looked exactly like what she had imagined her daughter would be.
Among her seven babies, only the youngest one was a girl, but unfortunately, her daughter did not have the opportunity to come to the world...
"Ms?" Rachel Taylor asked in a soft tone, "My dress is stuck. Can you help me?"
Gabrielle came to her senses and rushed forward, "Of course."
She dreamed of having such a sweet and lovely girl! Naturally, she would love to give her a hand.
Two minutes later, Gabrielle helped the child unzip her dress.
"Thank you, Ms!" Rachel revealed a smile with appreciation, " My name is Rachel. What's your name?"
"Rachel?" Gabrielle mumbled once and replied with a smile, "Nice to meet you. My name is Gabrielle."
At her words, Rachel's eyes flashed with excitement, and she suddenly jumped over to hug Gabrielle's leg, "Mommy! I finally find you!"
Gabrielle was stunned, "What?"
Where did the little kid who recognized her as her mother come from?
Although she felt happy to be hugged by Rachel, she gently pulled her away.
"Rachel," Gabrielle said in a light voice as she held the child's shoulders, "I'm not your mother."
Rachel's eyes darkened, but she quickly pouted and said stubbornly, "You are my mommy!"
Words from the maids at home that her father had an ex-wife named Gabrielle. She had asked the housekeeper that ex-wife meant a former wife. So how could she not be her mother?
"I..." Gabrielle was about to say something when Mike's voice sounded outside.
"Mommy! Where did mommy go? She's not lost, is she?"
"She must have gotten lost. Mommy did it last time."
"I think so too!"
Gabrielle found her speechless.
Was she, in her sons' mind, a person who always got lost?
"Mommy, where are you?" Mike exclaimed with concern.
"Mommy!" Harvey and Louis followed suit.
Gabrielle answered immediately, "I'm here."
She was turning to go out.
"Mommy!" Rachel hugged her leg while her eyes filled with tears, "Mommy doesn't want me?"
Gabrielle's heart melted instantly.
But...
She looked at Rachel, not knowing what to do.
Ten minutes later...
Gabrielle got into a nanny van with seven children.
