Chapter 9 Passionate Love, Crazy Assault

Jennifer folded her arms on her chest to protect herself...

The weather was a bit cold, and her slim body shivered.

Just when she thought Ethan was going to assault her... a pure white floor-length wedding dress suddenly came into view. It looked elegant, and the diamonds on it were glaring.

"What..." Jennifer looked at the man, too shocked to say anything.

"You think I'll let you wear a wedding dress prepared by another man?" Ethan arched his brow and patiently helped her put it on step by step.

His scalding fingers inevitably touched her skin, and she trembled involuntarily.

Jennifer bit her lip lightly and waited quietly.

Turned out...

He took off her wedding dress not to make out with her but to put on the new one for her.

In the end, he zipped up the dress. Along with it, his kiss landed on her back and then the Lycoris Radiata on her shoulder, "Jennifer, you only belong with me!"

Ethan held her from behind, groped for her finger, took off the ring, and put on her the one he prepared.

Out of jealousy or his domineering nature?

The marriage certificate suddenly crossed her mind, and she turned sideways, asking, "Care to explain the marriage certificate?"

"Fake!"

It was his only reply.

Before Jennifer could struggle, Ethan had pressed his lips against hers, "Does it matter? It will soon become real."

Out of breath, Jennifer leaned weakly against his chest.

In the afternoon, she had a nap on the bed. By the time she woke up, it was already dark. Beside her sat Ethan doing his work. Noticing her movement, he pushed the laptop away, "You hungry? What would you like to eat?"

"I'm not!" Jennifer shook her head, "Where are we?"

"On the helicopter!" He answered plainly.

She was stunned. No way... where was he taking her to?

Ethan read her mind, "Almost there."

"Oh!" Jennifer replied blandly. Not interested in the destination, she lay back down and closed her eyes.

"Jennifer, here we are!" In her drowsiness, she heard Ethan's voice.

As soon as they got off the helicopter, Jennifer couldn't believe her eyes and froze there.

It was not a luxurious villa, not a night street decorated by neon lights, not a riverside restaurant, but a primeval forest.

Thousands of acres large, the forest looked dark, boundless, and eerie at night.

All kinds of strange trees blotted out the sky, which made the dark forest eerier.

Ethan held her hand and led her to the depths of the forest.

"Why do you take me here?" Jennifer couldn't help but ask.

... Ethan just continued leading her to walk forward.

Jennifer shook off his hand, "Tell me why... do you want to live in seclusion in this forest?"

Ethan finally halted his steps, stretched out his hand, pulled her into his arms, and gently bit her shoulder, "I've prepared the wedding dress, the ring, and the marriage certificate, so what do you think? To propose, of course."

Proposal?

His speech blew up her mind. Who would propose a dark primeval forest!
