"Hey you! You are alright kid? " she heard as she opened her eyes with a jolt.

"Where am I? Ouch! my head HURTS. " she growled in pain. And in that pain, blinking, she could see a couple of old men and women. Leaning over her with concern.

"Get Her In The Scanner" Shouted one of them.

"Right away", she heard the one familiar voice of the boy that had carried her there.

" Try to relax. And don't get stressed out. You will be alright once we get the scanner started"

"You mean diagnosed" She murmured. As she was being prepared for the scan she was starting to rethink from the start. Nothing was making sense. "Could be a severe head injury" She thought "let's just get done with the scan"

WAIT. where was she? This wasn't any MRI or CT scanner. Nor did the room look anything like a health care centre. It was more like an alter. Some old worn out place of worship? HOLD ON. WTF. THERE WAS A COFFIN IN FRONT OF HER. wait no way!!! They were going to put her inside a coffin. She jumped with whatever strength she had but fell right on her face.

"Please.Dont kill me. Please please. Don't kill me" sobbing she was now convinced. Everything was making sense. She had been abducted by some psychotic murderous cult and was about to be sacrificed.

"Relax! No ones killing you. We are trying to heal you. "

"Yeah yeah. I know purification and salvation through your blade... NOOOOOO. THIS COULDN'T BE HAPPENING"

"RELAX!!!! ROMEY, come give me a hand. She's one hard chick to hold down" Yelled the one pinning her down.

"Bring the stabilizer" Shouted another.

In a moment five people were holding her down while another pushed something down her vein that felt like electric pulse. Then, through her big wet teardrops, she saw, everything faded away once again before her eyes. This time she was convinced it was forever.

We now zoom in on the most happening place in this mysterious maze. This was a few miles away from where she was at the moment.

The headquarters were on high alert since the tip-off. They had more surveillance teams patrolling for the Arrival. The bionic scanners were on their 200%.It should have been detected by now. The Schedule was never wrong. That could mean only one thing, the landing had already happened. However none of the 1000 years old machines or technologies could gauge it precisely.

Let us go back to the beginning.From where it all started, to make heads and tails out of the monologue so far.

It appeared the world she was in at the moment was a dystopian, post apocalypse world somewhere in the future a very possible result of human warfare, natural disasters and most importantly solar fusion flare that had an unexplained massive explosion. This world had off-springs of only choosen few elites from the entire human race, the most intelligent ones, wealthy ones or socially affluent ones only. Didn't get it? Well it was another classic example of the Noah's Arc. The world had just a few hours to cherry pick a handful from the top notch and go into hibernation deep below, near the earths core to survive the apocalypse and then further the human race. There was a initial struggle period for the survivors followed by a boom in everything, technologically that is. Everything was air borne as the soil was still reactive. But that was good for technological harvest. It was their infinite power supply source. The vegetation was scarce. Mostly thorny and carnivorous. The plant lives and animal lives had significantly mutated to survive the uninhabitable conditions on the surface, while the choosen few from the human race peacefully hiberated deep below. Agriculture was possible only under the earth surface. This cultivation under ground was a privilege. The main diet was extracted pills and syrups of essential nutrients. The surface water was also unsuitable for human consumption. It was used for another purpose altogether now. It was a portal, a channel, a pathway to other dimensions. But we will talk about that later.
