Chapter 7 Badass, What Did You Do to My Sister?
After discovering that his sister had disappeared, Ian began to look in the crowd and constantly looking for people to inquire about her.
In the process of inquiring, he was heard by two police officers patrolling nearby, and one of them immediately asked him about it. Then they realized that the little boy's sister was missing and started to help find her.
Chasing all the way, Ian saw that William was holding his sister in his arms.
Seeing the strangeness of his sister, Ian thought William was a bad person and immediately kicked him unceremoniously.
The two policemen didn't know William, and he was indeed holding Doris in his arms for no reason. William found it hard to explain it, and they returned to the police station of the nearby jurisdiction.
"Doris, Doris, wake up. Did you hear me? Doris!"
Ian frowned anxiously and kept calling Doris in a policeman’s arms.
But his sister didn't react at all.
Ian was frightened and angry. He clenched his fists and stared at William fiercely.
"Badass, what did you do to my sister? If something happens to my sister, I will definitely kill you!"
William squinted, and the little boy was really full of momentum.
But the boy’s fierce gaze didn’t annoy him. He found it particularly interesting instead. At this moment, the boy firmly believed that he was the bastard who had abducted his sister, and he wondered what expression the little boy would show when the truth was revealed.
William was a little curious and expectant.
He didn't realize that he had such tolerance for the two little kids.
"Don't worry. We’re going to the hospital first and have the doctor examine your sister."
The policeman couldn't help but feel distressed when he saw that Ian was a kid. After kindly comforting the boy, he turned his head to face William and immediately became righteous and stern.
"You name, age, hometown." The police really took William as a suspect for interrogation.
"It's not me." William said, "My driver has gone after the real suspect. When he comes back, the truth will be revealed. The most important thing now is to go to the hospital and check if there is anything wrong with the kid."
"Huh, don't think sophistry is useful!" The policeman warned him and threatened him with his eyes.
"Doris, Doris..." Ian kept calling his sister's name and occasionally raised his head to glare at William.
They arrived at the hospital soon.
"You’d better be honest and don't run around.” William was about to get out of the car, but the policeman warned him not to move.
"I won't run." William paid no attention to his warning gaze and followed them out of the car. He even took Doris from another policeman and took out his cell phone to make a call while striding to the hospital.
"Dean Bennett, it's me. Here is the thing..."
As soon as he called, the dean of the hospital immediately brought his elite medical team.
It happened so fast that the policemen did not even have time to stop it.
Seeing her sister being pushed into the emergency room, Ian pursed her lips and stood outside without saying anything.
He didn't panic when something happened at a young age, and he was calm and decent.
William squinted his eyes and looked at the boy with some appreciation.
The little boy straightened his back and looked confident.
While waiting for the doctor's examination, the driver called William. William gave him the hospital's address and asked him to bring some men over as soon as possible.
Soon, the door of the emergency room opened, and the doctor walked out.
"Doctor, how is my sister? Is she in any danger?" Ian stepped forward, restrained his worry and anxiety, and asked politely.
The doctor looked around, and the two policemen were automatically ignored, and his eyes fell directly on William.
"Are you her parent!? Didn’t you know that your child was given an overdose of sleeping pills? Fortunately, it didn't cause much harm. Otherwise, you will regret it!"
