Chapter 11 She Wants to Pee!
With a soft velvet quilt over his body, the man was showing his back to the window.
The pale moonlight slanted in.
It landed on the big figure. In the barracks, he was a majestic war god.
All the soldiers and generals admired the most prestigious marshal in Indiana.
Janice recalled a time when she was little. The man held her to sleep just like this.
She felt excited about his warm embrace.
All of a sudden, a shadow swept by the window.
The figure in a jasper outfit climbed up a thick cherry tree and hid among the blooming petals.
Janice fidgeted, trying to warn Kameron of an assassin.
But the man was sleeping like a log.
Anger spewed up in her.
Mr. Hahn was sleeping soundly, but the detestable assassin was going to ruin it.
Her hand groped around as she tried to find that Browning hidden on the bed.
The cold gun was held in her palm.
Bullets were loaded.
What flashed by the window was a somewhat familiar face.
Him!
How dare he peek into Mr. Hahn's room!
Those adjutants would spray bullets at him.
"Janice?" There was a tinge of moroseness in his sleepy voice.
His temper in bed was always bad. If someone recklessly startled him, he would go crazy like a bloodthirsty beast.
The person outside was unaware that he was one step to hell.
He even waved at Janice.
Then he went back down on the slate ground.
Janice didn't want to disturb Kameron and thus tried to smooth things over, "It's nothing, Mr. Hahn. There was a cat in the tree."
"Why are you still awake?" Kameron's slender fingers crept up and squeezed her jaw. His eyes remained closed, but the smile at the corner of his mouth was chilling.
Janice shivered and felt nature's call out of nervousness.
She regretted having a glass of milk every night that she believed could help her grow taller.
Now the urge was growing stronger, "Mr. Hahn."
"Sleep." Kameron ignored her sweet voice and held her more tightly.
Janice stiffened all over, trying to break free from the stronghold of his arms.
She wanted to…
Go to the bathroom…
And pee...
This one idea filled her mind, but she felt too embarrassed to bring it up, especially when the air about him was cold.
She was a big girl now. How could she tell him that she couldn't sleep because of the urge to pee?
One of his eyes opened, "You're being restless."
His eye was devilish.
The moment it opened, it threatened to devour her.
"I'm not…" Janice argued.
The restless one was the prankster outside the window. She was innocent.
Kameron saw through her mind, "Janice, you raised a cat in this house? Or did you hide something else without my knowledge?"
"No... Nothing, how could that be possible? I'm just a high school student. After you adopted me… I lived in the barracks." Janice quibbled desperately. The Browning she just touched was easily confiscated by him.
He then threw it on the nightstand.
Instead of pressing, Kameron turned over and got on top of her soft body, "Alright, stop making a scene, or I'll punish you!"
When the pale moonlight landed on his slender neck, it looked like jade.
His bulging Adam's apple rolled on his fair skin.
The scene looked wild and frigid.
"Mr. Hahn, I'm not making a scene. I… I want… to pee!"
As his lips moved close to her, Janice finally mustered up her courage to mention the embarrassing cause.
She looked into his dark eyes.
Deep down, she felt aggrieved.
Would Mr. Hahn forbid her to pee because she disturbed his sleep…
Boohoo.
She was so unlucky. If she knew about this in advance…
She wouldn't have drunk milk or anything that contained water!
