Chapter Six

Jordan walked into the office on Monday morning hoping to get answers from Philip or his girlfriend, he wanted answers and he wanted to get it soon, his mystery lover wasn't showing up and Jordan wasn't one who did one night stands especially not when whoever banged him did such a good job at it, he wanted to meet this person no matter what and have a taste again, and also talk to the person, maybe get to know him and just maybe he could do love again, funny how he was considered that because of someone he wasn't even sure of.

"Hey Eliza, can I talk to you for a moment?"

Jordan asked her as she walked into the office, not even giving her a chance to sit down.

"Sorry I jumped you, I have something I really wanna know,"

"it's not a problem Jordan, you can ask,"

"Okay, thank you, so the thing is I want to know if you saw me talking to anyone on Saturday night and if you dont mind telling me who it was,"

Jordan inquired hoping she had the answers he needed.

"You were with someone? I am sorry, I can't remember seeing you with anyone, you can ask Ethan though'"

"No, Ethan won't know, I was still sober when he left, it was remaining just the three of us," that's the part I can't remember"

"Oh, sorry, I don't think I can help you,"

Eliza replied dashing Jordan's hope of finding his mystery lover.

"So you are telling me you didn't see me talking to anyone before you left? Are you sure? Think about it please, this is important to me,"

Jordan pleaded with Eliza but she seemed not to have any idea, he had been betting on her to tell him and give him a clue and now it seems that wasn't the case.

"I didn't see anyone, you can ask Philip when he gets back, sorry but I was pretty drunk when we left, and even if I saw anything, I don't recur,"

"It's fine Liz thanks anyways,"

"Cool, or you can make a stop at the bar that would be easier, Phillip is on break this week and won't show up until next week, if it is urgent you can go to the bat,"

"Yeah, thanks, I will do that,"

Jordan said and excused himself, going back to his seat, he hadn't thought of going to the bar, that should have been his first stop, he would go there after work and hope he can find anything, even if it's just a name or a description, anything to get a grab of who it might be.

He concentrated on getting his work done, he couldn't leave early as he wanted and was only able to leave by after seven, he decided to go straight to the bar.

Jordan greeted the barman Greg who smiled at him.

"Hi, Greg,"

"Hey Jordan, what's up baby? What are you doing here on a weekday?"

Greg asked flirting, as usual, Jordan was used to him calling him baby and he liked it, not as in like like, Greg wasn't his type but still, he liked him calling him baby.

"Yeah, I came to ask a few questions,"

"Okay, do you want a drink?"

"No, I have to go to work early tomorrow, I will just ask and leave,"

"Alright baby, I am all ears,"

"Remember Saturday night?"

"Yes, when you are your friends came, what's up about it?"

"I was the lady person that left, and I was wondering if you maybe saw me talking to someone or leaving with a stranger,"

"This stranger is it a guy or a girl?"

"A guy,"

"Okay, I don't think so, the last time I saw you, you were helping the other guy, what's his name Philip, yes, you helped him and that other girl get in the car and you never came back here, I assumed you left for home too, I am guessing that's not it,"

"Yeah, it's not, I have scattered memories but it doesn't add up, I can't recur going anywhere after here and I woke up in a hotel room,"

"Ohhh, did you get laid?"

Greg asked with a knowing smile that made Jordan kind of shy but he denied it.

"No, that's not it, I am just trying to figure out who took me to the hotel,"

"Same difference, because if this said person didn't leave an impact you won't be out here hunting for him, must have been an unforgettable fuck,"

"Shut up, can you help me?"

"Sure, I will ask the others who were around that day if they saw when you left and which part you headed to but don't expect too much as everyone is always busy and they barely notice things, if I find anything, I will let you know,"

"Thank you, Greg,"

"Sure baby, anything for you,"

Jordan sat in his usual spot at the bar, he felt sad for not getting anything, he had come hoping he would get information but there was nothing, all the staffs who were present said they didn't see him leave, those that did say he left with his co-workers, which wasn't true because he knew he didn't leave with Philip and Eliza, between getting those two in a car, which is what Greg and some other workers had said, he had somehow met someone who had taken him to a hotel where he had spent the night.

"I am sorry we couldn't help you Jordan,"

Greg said coming to him after the club had closed, he didn't know why he waited till everyone had left, he had to go to work the next day.

"It's fine, you did your best, thanks Greg,"

"Wait, why not check the CCTV footage maybe you will find something,"

Greg said pulling him out of his seat and dragging him with him upstairs, they passed the VIP part of the club where some people were still in, he opened a door to where Jordan discovered was a control room, Greg spoke to the man there and the guy brought out the footage of that day, after which the man left, while he and Greg watched the CCTV footage, it took a while for them to find the clip where he was shown but that didn't help as the cameras didn't capture much moment of him.

"There are so many lopes, I need to remind the management to do something about this,"

Greg said as he scanned through more.

"Yeah, I agree,"

He said this didn't help which put him in an even worst mood.

"I am sorry I couldn't be of help to you Jord,"

"It's fine, you did your best, I guess it was never met to be,"

He said as he got off the seat and made to leave, Greg pulled him back, his hands on each side of his waist, Jordan looked up at him in shock, he didn't have time to process it before Greg's lips came crashing on his, Jordan surrender to the pressure of his lips in his, he held onto him, grabbing his hair and deepening the kiss.

"Greg, what was that for?"

He asked when they finally broke apart, his lips stinging, he touched it still in shock over the kiss

"That? I wanted to cheer you up, you looked so down,"

"Are you drunk Greg? You ain't gay, plus you have a girlfriend,"

"I am not drunk, just tipsy, yes I have a girlfriend but she will understand that I was just trying to cheer up a friend, I didn't cheat on her, and besides Classy and I are both polygamous, what more, I may not be gay but I am bi,"

Greg revealed, Jordan didn't know what to do with all the information, finding out Greg was into men too and on top of that, he was poly, that was hot, but he should not be doing these things, one time he and Kelvin had tried it out, Kel was bi too but he was more into guys, that one time, they had gotten a girlfriend, it had been his first time fucking a lady, he hadn't liked it that much but Kelvin had loved every moment so he had done it more for Kelvin than himself but everything got bad when Kelvin started spending more time with Lucy than him, he had gotten jealous and asked Kelvin to choose between him and her, he had chosen him which had made him think Kelvin loved him as much as he loved him, what a big fat lie, anyway after the Lucy experience and his jealous outburst Jordan had decided that he liked to own his person alone and didn't like sharing.

"Don't think too much about the kiss, I was really just hoping to cheer you up, I know you already have someone in mind but f you are free you can always call me, and I will be sure to give you the release you want,"

Greg said pecked him before walking out, Jordan followed behind him still dazed by the kiss, he bid Greg goodnight and went home regretfully, he still had one hope though, even though it was small, and that was Phi, he just hoped he has something for him, he has to wait till next week to find out...

****

One Week Later.

So you are saying you didn't see me talking with anyone that night? For real?"

Jordan asked Philip, he was his last hope, he had asked his girlfriend and she said she didn't see him talking with anyone, it's been over a week since the event happened and he still couldn't get over it, neither could he find his mystery lover, Phillip has been on a break and just resumed, he has betting on him to find out about the person he had been with that night but his answers were not helping either.

"Yeah, no one, when my sweetie and I left, you were alone and no one was talking to you, oh maybe it's the bartender guy because you are flirting with him, wait, why are you looking for this person anyway?"

"That's none of your business Phi and also it's not the bartender, we flirt all the time, and the dude is straight, I don't do straight guys,"

Jordan replied but then the memory of Greg kissing him beg to differ, he could still remember how his lips tasted, but Greg wasn't his type ad the kiss had been a friendly one.

"Yeah right, friendly indeed.

The voice in his head whispered, he shut it up immediately, he wasn't in the mood for those shit, his chances of ever meeting his lover were pretty much gone, and he hated it here.

"You can ask those who were on shift at the bar that day, maybe they might have answers,'

Phi said.

"I have done that and no one knows anything, I guess I am just going to give up,"

He said surrendering to date, this was cruel, first fate dealt him a heavy blow last year when his boyfriend of six years had dumped him and married someone else and what's more, he couldn't even look at another man for almost a year, he didn't get laid in that long months, mainly because he didn't feel the vibes of the guys he had met and also because he had been still hurting, then fate decided to smile on him by bringing him a lover and now fate decided to not let him meet the one again, maybe he was really not meant to be with someone after all.

"Well, I don't know who you are looking for but it doesn't seem like you can find him or her so, it's best if you just forget about it,"

"I guess so, thanks anyway Phi,".

He said and went back to his side of the office, sitting heavily, he suddenly didn't feel like working, he couldn't accept that he wasn't ever going to meet the person who gave him the best sex of his life, Jordan has always been bottom and had sworn that his next relationship, he would do well to be the top so that when it ends, he would walk away knowing that he won't be the scratched one, thinking about it now, he felt like a fool, Kelvin had done him dirty but that didn't mean he would do other people dirty too, yes last year he hadn't wanted a relationship but right now, he wanted one, not with any other man but the one who took him to heaven on the night of Kat's wedding.

Jordan spent the rest of the day in a sour mood, he wasn't feeling like doing anything, after almost five hours of fruitlessly trying to get any work done, he decided to call it a day since there weren't any pressing works, he told his team leader who told him he could leave, he walked out off Evan's cooperation and decided to make a stop at the pharmacy to get painkillers, bad idea because he forgot a certain annoying figure worked there when he saw him, his bad mood got even worst, he just disliked the sight of the dude, totally someone he would run over, because why not?

"Hey, Jordan, what brings you here?"

The fellow asked, Jordan ignored him and went to get what he wanted.

"Jordan, about the apartment, could you give it a thought? Please, I know you don't like me but I really need to move out of where I am currently staying,"

Liam pleaded, Jordan eyed him.

"No, I already told Katrina that I am not sharing my space with you, stop pushing it, get the fuck out of my face,"

Jordan said and walked away, he wasn't going to share his apartment with Liam and that's final.
