Her mother in law and a young women, walked over while chatting and laughing arm in arm, looking carefully, Ruby recognized the woman. She was just the woman that accompanied her husband last night.

Mrs. Ethan did not seem to have expected to meet Ruby in the hospital.

When their eyes met, the awkwardness flashed on Mrs. Ethan’s face. She nodded towards Mrs. Lu and said with a smile: "I felt not good, my son asked Sherry to come with me to the hospital. Don't think too much about it."

"I see, Ethan’s assistant." Ruby smiled and said, holding her mother's arm without fear, "Merely, mom, you can call me next time, and don’t need to call anyone outside."

Mrs. Ethan smiled awkwardly.

Sherry’s face clouded over more.

Ruby only glanced at Sherry and smiling at Mrs. Ethan. "Mom, I'm sorry, I'm too busy to accompany you. Let Sherry send you back. I'll be taking my leave first."

"Alright." Mrs. Ethan nodded and did not say much.

Ruby also caught a glimpse of the contempt in Mrs. Ethan s eyes. She pretended that she didn't see it, just walking past them with her mother.

Before they got married, she took much care of Ethan's family and often came to visit them with gifts whenever, yet no one treated her well, but Mrs. Ethan did. Maybe because of Ruby’s rich family.

When Mrs. Ethan was hospitalized for kidney stones, Ruby had been taking care of her at the hospital for most of a month. She prepared three meals and sent to the hospital for her every day until she left the hospital.

However, being as good to Mrs. Ethan as her mother for a long period, she didn’t receive attention at all, so she was tired.

It was really tiring.

No matter how much she gave, Ethan would never see it.

She realized that she left behind two bags of medicine when she was out of the hospital, and asked her mother to wait for her then went back to get them.

They once again met Sherry at the long corridor, Mrs. Ethan was not by her side this time.
