Chapter 6 Marry Me
Like a beast relieved from a cage, Travon kissed and bit Cissy's lips and wanted her to know how he felt right now.
However, after turning Travon on, Cissy turned her head to the other side and fell into a deep sleep.
Travon ceased. The fire in his eyes was out. He pulled a wry face and lay down next to Cissy and the excitement faded away.
"Pop!" The next morning started with a crisp sound. Travon was wakened by a slap in his face.
He had never been beaten. The pain in his face made him strike back. However, his hand stopped in the air.
When he saw Cissy's panicked eyes on her sullen face, Travon was breathless with guilt.
"It was Lucy who changed your clothes." No wonder that Cissy had slapped him. The shirt she was wearing was wide opened and her whole body was in his arms, almost naked.
Travon's voice was calm. He let go of her at ease.
Cissy's face turned red when she recalled what had happened last night. It seemed to be her who flirted with the man in front of her and threw herself on him.
She raised her head and found that his angular face was very good looking, but his long eyes were cold and looked at her in a sulk. Under his tall nose was thin lips that she had tasted last night. She could feel them still.
"Travon Melman?" Cissy called his name flusteredly.
A slight surprise flashed in Travon's eyes. It was so slight that no one could notice, but strong enough to blow away his anger.
"Sorry..." Cissy didn't know what else she could say. It was Travon Melman that she had slapped.
He had been a popular and dominant figure in the entertainment circle but chosen to quit when he was in his prime.
"I am very very sorry!" She was badly stricken last night, so she made herself drunk. However, after that, she met trouble. Luckily, Travon saved her. Now she beat the one who had saved her.
"Do you want to make up for it?" Travon's dark profound eyes were staring at her.
Cissy nodded quickly. However, she had nothing while Travon had everything.
"But how can I do it?" Cissy's voice was as weak as a mosquito.
"Marry me." Travon's profound eyes looked calm, but his clenching hands betrayed him.
"What?" Cissy could not believe what she heard.
"I need a wife," said the man seriously. His throat sounded dry.
Cissy was dumbfounded. It seemed that Travon's words were incomprehensive to her. Travon's thin lips pursed, a bit agitated.
"Hahaha!" Cissy then burst into a laugh like she heard a very funny joke.
Travon's eyes turned cold and intangible.
"Eight years in the entertainment circle and I've never taken part in an intimate scene, including kissing scene," said Travon.
"Oh, no! Is it what he wants me to make up for?" Cissy said to herself.
"Don't you want a home?" The handsome angular-faced man said seriously. A slight expectation flashed through his eyes.
These words touched her heart. She looked at this man before her, not very firmly. "Could I really have a home?" she thought.
"Is there anything you feel embarrassed to talk about?" asked Cissy carefully after she calmed herself down and thought about the wording.
