Chapter 7 Let's Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau
Travon's face did not look good when he heard that.
"Well, I can show you," he said with a mysterious and playful smile on his almost perfect face.
That was not necessary. The hotness between Cissy's legs last night had already impressed her.
"No... I mean, you are gay, and... you want me to cover you, right?" Cissy had to make her point clear now.
Before this mighty figure, Cissy's brain could not function well. She didn't know why a gay fell in love with her.
Travon figured her out soon. His sudden proposal had scared her and she would turn him down. However, if he pretended to be gay, she might marry him as a favor.
Once they got married, they would have plenty of time to get along. He did not mind waiting a bit longer, as long as there was a bond between them.
Travon did not respond. His eyes were full of deep-rooted sadness.
Travon had acquired three best actor awards. No one would question his acting skill.
Cissy nodded after a few seconds.
She thought she served no other purpose for Travon with such status and she could cut off the thread of love to Chad.
She still had misgivings, but she had to live her new life.
Travon repressed his excitement and pretended to be easy and said, "So, let's go to the civil affairs bureau."
Now? Cissy was shocked.
"I'm a stuntwoman and doing the stunt for the film, Time to Fall in Love. I have stunts to do today. I don't know when I will be free, but I will call you if I have time, OK?"
Cissy introduced herself earnestly. She thought he should know something basic about her at least since they were going to be officially married, and she gave Travon a chance to reconsider it.
"Alright." Travon was not surprised and did not say anything.
Cissy checked the time and found that she had to leave now, or else she would be late.
"I will give you clothes." Travon spontaneously walked out to fetch her clothes which had been washed.
Soon after Travon walked out, Cissy received a phone call from Chandler, a stuntman who was working with her in the same crew. He told her that they had one day off because something was wrong with the equipment.
Travon came back with a cream-colored dress and gave it to Cissy.
Clothes had been ready last night. There was a room downstairs full of various clothes. They were all for Cissy.
Travon thought this off-shoulder chiffon dress was very decent and suitable for some formal occasions.
"Uh, the crew is off today," said Cissy, taking the dress.
"Good! I'll be waiting for you downstairs." Travon's thin lips curved in a smile and his eyes were fulfilled with warmth.
Getting married was an important moment for him. How could he wait? To make it happen as soon as possible, he had to do something.
After he changed his clothes, he was waiting in the living room, his eyes staring at the stairs.
When she walked down from the stairs, his eyes were wide open.
The chins in her delicate face were reddish. Under her dense feather-like eyelashes were a pair of clear and shiny eyes. Her high and straight nose was quite pretty with a touch of masculine charm. Her rosy lips were soft and a bit thin. Her long and black hair draped casually on her shoulders, slightly curl. The hemline of the cream-colored dress waved above her knees as she walked slowly forward.
