Chapter 8 It's Your House

Travon's eyes were wide and he was still immersed in the moment she came down from the stairs even she had come to him. It seemed that he wanted to keep that moment in his mind forever.

"So beautiful!" Travon praised unstintingly.

Cissy nodded gratefully. She found that Travon looked even taller and straighter in a hand-made suit, the color of which matched with Cissy's dress so well as if by design. There was a smile in his dark and profound eyes.

"Eat something first." Travon had already had congee prepared so that drinking would not upset her stomach.

Cissy was touched by what Travon had done. No one had ever been so considerate to her.

When they were about to get on the car, Travon's eyes turned cold when he noticed something in Cissy's arm. "What's wrong with it?" he asked in a low voice.

"I got it during the shoot," Cissy took a look at it and said casually.

She had been trained for martial arts since she was a child. Injuries were nothing to her, but it felt good when someone cared about her.

"Lucy, call the doctor!" Travon's face turned cold as ice. "Call Mrs. Sheahn!" He made his order clearer.

Cissy wanted to say that was fine. However, Travon's nervous look made her keep silent.

Lucy had noticed that last night, but she didn't want to interrupt him since this was the first time he cared so much about a girl.

Mrs. Sheahn arrived soon and lessened the bruise on Cissy.

Because of Travon's status, they registered their marriage in a special way that was faster than Cissy could imagine.

The woman in charge of the registry looked Cissy up and down. She was unhappy that the former lady killer married this girl.

It was not until the moment they received the marriage certificate that Cissy realized she had married Travon, a man she had never dared to dream of.

"From now on, I'm a family man," Travon made a meaningful statement when they came out of the bureau.

"Will you be free later?" Travon asked.

Cissy nodded hesitantly, looking a little sad and nervous.

The gloss in Travon's eyes faded away instantly when he saw that. Did she regret it?

"So... let's go to dinner." Travon stepped forward. He couldn't bear to see her unhappy look.

They went to a Sichuan Restaurant. When they arrived, Cissy took a look at Travon bewilderedly. She thought he had called her name last night.

Did they know each other?

The room they were in was very private and cozy. Listening to the soothing music and eating hometown cuisine, Cissy was no longer restrained.

Travon just watched her eat and hardly ate anything.

"Uh, one condition," said Cissy hesitantly when the dinner was nearly done.

Travon got tense, but no one could tell that from his face. He looked at her seriously.

"I don't have a place to stay now. Most of the stunt scenes had been done and the stuntwoman of the supporting female will join the crew and the accommodation resource is tight. So, I wonder if I can stay at your home for a few days?"

Cissy's face turned red after she made the request. Their relationship was a bit delicate.

"I promise I won't make any trouble and will move as soon as I find a place," Cissy supplemented hurriedly.

"It's your home. Of course, you can live in it." Calmness was restored and his face became gentle.
