Chapter 20 His Lover Came Home
Dorothy busied herself all day and finally cleaned up everything in all the rooms before it got dark.
And she stopped worrying after examining the rooms several times and finding nothing ignored.
It was a hard day for her compared with usual as her back ached today.
Zack drove around in his car, yet Blake's face kept appearing in his mind. The past two years of their relationship had left him many sweet memories.
She was an active and fashionable girl who could bring him surprise and happiness whenever they were together.
Zack was an introverted man who would not show his feelings easily. It was Blake who handled their relationship when they were together.
It was Blake who always led him in the process when they started to know each other and finally fell in love.
Blake was the one who said first "I love you."
She was the one who proposed their first date.
She was the one who gave her hand to him when they touched each other's hands for the first time. His heart went wild when a soft hand was in his.
It was the first time he had held a woman's hand.
She took his hand and walked on the street in a close manner, not caring about the strangers' expression. On her face, there was pride and happiness.
She was the one who kissed him for the first time.
That night, they drank some wine. It seemed that Blake was a little bit drunk and she suddenly got close to him and kissed him on the lips. His mind went blank at that moment and a surge of alien happiness struck him.
He swore in his heart that night, "Blake, I will love you forever!"
And it was his first kiss.
Every time he thought of the love and surprises that she brought to him, he was eager to see her. Every time he thought of the cheat that she gave to him, his heart sank.
She was his first woman. Who was her first man?
He could not figure out why Blake was not a virgin?
Tortured by the wiliness and unwillingness, Zack drove aimlessly on the street.
His phone bell rang. He looked at it, Blake's name was on it. His heartbeat raced and the willingness to meet her won. He pressed the answer key without any hesitation, "Blake."
Blake was at her house.
She had been worried these days since she had slept with Zack. She was afraid that Zack would not talk to her anymore as she knew she was not a virgin.
Yesterday she tried to call him only to receive his cold tone. It made her become more worried. She was anxious about not seeing him anymore.
Today she called him again. She decided she would go to his house directly if Zack still told her that he was not at home.
"Zack, are you at home now?" she got to the point directly, "I am coming."
Her voice was sweet and made him miss her even more.
Love won the hate finally. After all, she was the woman he loved for two years.
He answered, "I will come to pick you up right now."
Blake smiled with happiness, "Okay, I will wait for you outside."
Zack turned and drove toward her house. What he hoped was that Blake could give him an explanation.
As long as she told her history frankly to him, he could still love her despite what she had done.
At this moment, he forgot the fact that he was not an eligible bachelor anymore. Now he was a woman's husband on honeymoon!
Blake got into the car and Zack drove her home. When they almost arrived, Zack suddenly remembered that Dorothy was still at home.
Was it okay to bring Blake home when Dorothy was there? Especially when Dorothy was namely his wife?
Zack pulled the brake and the car slowed down.
Blake looked at him puzzledly, "What?"
Zack said, "Let's go to your house."
"My house?" Blake was surprised, "My house is small, and I only have a single bed. How can we two sleep in the small bed?"
Her words made Zack feel hot. He did not say anything for a while.
He did not pull over the car nor speed up.
Blake said, "Zack, is there anyone in your house and it is inconvenient to bring me there?"
"No."
"So..." Blake suddenly looked at him with watery eyes and said with sobbing voice, "You don't want me to go to your house. Right?"
"No."
He could never be too tough to refuse her when she was tearing.
"Don't cry, we are home soon." Zack sped up.
He remembered that he had told Dorothy his denying about their marriage so there was no need to care about her feeling. He could bring Blake Home and then Dorothy would know who his real love was.
Blake stopped crying and smiled, then she pinched his arm slightly, "On, I thought you don't love me."
"No."
"Zack, do you know sometimes you can be annoying? You are too cold to be warmed even though I am the fire."
Zack felt warmth at her complaint because he did like her passion.
Dorothy hurried to open the gate for them when she heard the car whistle.
And she saw a well-dressed beautiful woman in his car when Zack drove the car in. She did not know the woman, yet she dared not ask who she was.
Blake stepped out of the car and saw Dorothy was opening the door, so she asked surprisedly, "Well, who is this young girl?"
