Chapter 25 You Are a Psycho

The atmosphere in the room tensed up again.

Abigail felt that she was sitting on the air vent of a central air conditioner, and her back was icy. She did not look at the man, who was the source of the coldness, and pretended to focus on tying the bandage.

It was hard to tie a knot with only her left hand. She tried and failed many times.

Feeling agitated, she accidentally touched the wound and could not help but gasp in pain.

George, sitting across from her, could not bear to look at it any longer, got up, and sat down beside her. Before she could flinch, he had grabbed her injured hand.

"It hurts!" Abigail complained in pain. How could the man touch her wound again and again!

He was so annoying!

Due to the man's move, the initially loose gauze became even looser. The wound was once again exposed to the air and oozing blood. Abigail was so furious that she wanted to bite the man again.

George did not say a word, grabbed the aching finger, and began to take off the gauze.

"What are you doing?" Abigail's eyes were bloodshot and covered by a layer of frost, but the look in them was furious.

George maintained expressionless, ignored the woman's wrath, checked on the wound, and then pulled her to the kitchen.

He, tall and strong, walked fast and did not take Abigail's speed into consideration. Therefore, the woman bumped into his muscular back several times while staggering forward.

Whenever her weakness in strength was amplified in front of a man, Abigail felt it was unfair that the creator had designed men and women this way.

In the kitchen, George threw the previous gauze into a dustbin and put the woman's finger under a tap to flush it with water.

Abigail flew into a rage, roaring, "What's the matter with you?"

She was angrier than ever!

George finally changed his expression, shot a sharp glance at the woman, and said in a cold voice, "Can you be a sensible adult? Do you have any common sense?"

The man thought, "She is pregnant. Why the hell was she cooking? Also, a pregnant woman should be extremely cautious about applying medicine. Doesn't she know that either?"

A sensible adult? Common sense? What did the man mean? Abigail was confused and stunned. When she came back to her senses, she shouted at the man in boiling anger.

"You're a psycho!" The man was simply driving her crazy.

A demon, who was abusing her, behaved like she was the one who should be scolded?

The aching wound and the fury were pushing Abigail to the edge of another wave of the emotional eruption. However, at this moment, the man pulled her out of the kitchen, pressed her on the sofa, and began to rewrap the bandage for her.

His movements were not rude.

Staring at the careful expression on the man's face, Abigail felt flattered and uneasy.

"What happened to you? Oh right, you've said you have something to tell me. Is Tina awake? Or are you having an affair? You want to divorce me, don't you?"

If George was not out of his mind, then he must want something from her.

He was forced by Oliver to marry her. If he wanted to divorce her, Oliver would never grant it unless she agreed to it and proposed it to Oliver herself.

George was cold and ruthless on the outside, but loyal and caring on the inside. It was possible for him to beg Abigail for help, even for the sake of Tina.

Just as Abigail was about to be convinced by her own thought that George wanted to divorce her, the man suddenly put forth more strength on his grip on the woman's hand to punish her.

She cried out in pain, two tear beads streaming down her cheeks. "George Gates!"

George stared at the woman with an emotionless expression on his face and loosened up a bit as his heart suddenly skipped a beat.
