Chapter 8 Insult

When Sara realized what happened, Kent had thrown himself on top of her.

She put her hands against his chest, her pretty face as red as a rose. "Kent, I can't breathe. Get away from me... Emm..."

Her delicate lips were covered by his tightly. His kisses swept over her like a rainstorm; his hot breath was about to overwhelm her. As a surge of fear welled up in her heart, she tried to push him away with greater strength.

Her faint fragrance made the fire in his body flare. Regardless of her resistance, he tore her clothes fiercely...

On the night several days ago, she hadn't had strong fear in front of her male neighbor. But now, feeling Kent's weight and rude movements, she suddenly thought of the man who did the same to her on the wedding night...

Her soft body began to tremble uncontrollably, her face covered with tears of fright.

The taste of saltiness made Kent furrow his brows and lift his head. Seeing her wet face under the dim light, he revealed a sneer. "Don't act like a virgin. Someone who doesn't know you may think you're a..."

He had a contemptuous look at her. "Sara White, you really disgust me."

He went back to the driver's seat, lit up a cigarette, and blew out a stream of smoke. There were mixed emotions in his deep eyes as he was still tortured by overwhelming lust.

She bit her lower lip, wiped her tears with a hand, and asked with a sobbing voice, "Kent, must you treat me like this? Can't we make a go of our marriage?"

He snorted and threw a cold glance at her. "Have a go of it? Humph, even if you asked grandpa to drug the soup for me, I won't go deeper with you as you wish! Sara White, I didn't expect you to be so contemptible and shameless!"

Drug the soup?

Sara was stunned.

So that was why he suddenly became abnormal? But she knew nothing of it!

"I..." She opened her mouth, but she didn't know how to explain it.

Kent ignored her and took out his phone. "Honey, come to Abbey Road right away... Yes, I need you to quench the fire inside me."

After hanging up the phone, he looked at the pitiful woman and shouted mercilessly, "Why are you still here? Get out of my car now!"

Her heart ached, and her eyes were covered by a thin layer of moisture. Gazing at the handsome but indifferent man, she asked in a choked voice, "Have you never liked me?" She should have faced reality earlier. All the time, she had been cheating herself that he liked her to some degree, now that he had once proposed to her.

He blew a ring of smoke and narrowed his eyes. Coldly, he said, "Your father was merely a steward in my family. Don't imagine that you could marry me if he hadn't saved me once. Besides, I like a lot of women, but never you. How stupid you are! Humph!"

At this moment, she felt like a hammer struck her heart, breaking all her illusions.

She opened her mouth and wanted to say something. But just then, someone knocked at the car window.

A gorgeous tall woman stood by the car with a coquettish smile, staring at Sara defiantly.

With a deep breath, Sara repressed the anguish and got out of the car somewhat awkwardly.

She ran along the road until she fell onto the ground. As she felt the pain from her arms, she finally burst out crying. Heartbroken and helpless, she was just like an abandoned child.

She was not a fragile woman, but the marriage had really riddled her heart.

Suddenly, she felt a strong wave of fatigue. She had an overwhelming impulse to throw everything away and escape here.
