Chapter 10 Janet Fitch Was Back
Staring at the man who treated her as a transparent person, she felt congested in her chest with her face red with dissatisfaction.
Although she wanted to forget that ridiculous night, she couldn't ignore what had happened, especially when this man neglected her repeatedly just like Kent.
She was confused–was she that easily bullied? With a deep frown, she nerved herself to stride forward, blocking his way directly.
Surprised by her sudden behavior, the man furrowed his dashing brows slightly. "Yes?"
After a deep breath, she looked into the man's black eyes and asked with slight anger, "Sir, what on earth do you mean?"
The fold between the man's brows seemingly deepened. Silent, he looked at her for a while, waiting for her to go on.
Finally, his lips curved into a faint smile. When she couldn't be more embarrassed, he drawled, "You tell me."
Her head buzzed, a sense of shame surging into her mind. She gritted her teeth and said fiercely, "You knew I was drunk. Why did you... Asshole, I can let the police catch you!"
"Madam, it was you who broke into my house and hugged me. You're to blame for everything." The man seemed reluctant to say more to her. After throwing the rubbish, he turned around and walked into his house.
Sara stood on the spot in a daze. Her bright eyes became gradually moist, but she forced her tears back stubbornly.
As soon as she went back home, the landline phone rang. After a few deep breaths, she finally answered the phone.
"Sara, I called you on your cell phone, but you didn't answer it. Did Kent bully you last night?"
She held back the tears that were about to roll down and replied in a soft voice, "Grandpa, Kent was with me last night. Don't worry!" She knew it was this old man's greatest wish to have a great-grandson. But neither Kent's body or his heart was on her. What should she do?
"Haha, that's good! That's good! Janet will be back in a few days. Can you and Kent pick her up by then?" he said.
"Okay..." After hanging up the phone, she burst into tears.
City B International Airport.
Since entering the airport, Kent had had his eyes fixed on the VIP passage. There was an earnest and expectant expression on his handsome face. Sara knew Janet's status in his heart, but his caring love for his sister still pained her slightly.
In his world, she, Sara White, was merely a shame.
After a while, a slender figure in baby blue showed up not far away. "Kent!" A pleasant voice interrupted Sara's thoughts. Janet waved her hand with a bright smile on her delicate face.
Sara watched Janet run over at Kent and had to admit that she was gorgeous and fascinating. She had fair skin as smooth as porcelain, big and lively eyes, a small and straight nose, and thin and watery lips. Her hair was long, chestnut, and shinny, cascading over her shoulders. In general, she was just like an international superstar attracting people's attention.
She threw her curvaceous body into his arms.
Just then, Sara was surprised to find a touch of tenderness in Kent's eyes. It was care, love, and something more complicated.
