Chapter 11 Becoming Her Employee

When Kira came out, she saw Clyde peeling a crab.

With his slender fingers, he peeled it slowly and somewhat gracefully.

Probably because of his handsome face, she got a false impression.

After the meal, Kira helped the kid to wash up and put them to bed.

Then she returned to the living room and found Clyde still there.

He was sitting upright on the sofa with a calm face. His deep eyes were emotionless.

Kira had to break the silence, "Clyde, have you found a job?"

"Not yet."

He didn't find a job and still looked so calm?

If it was Darren, Kira should have punched him. This man, however, was big and tall. There was such an awful air about him that people didn't dare to randomly get their hands on him.

She hummed and asked, "What do you do?"

His job?

Clyde fell into silence.

Kira knitted her brows, "You're not a loafer, are you?"

"… No."

Kira walked to him and pressed in a cold voice, "What did you do then?"

Clyde thought for a while, "Management."

"Manage what?"

"People."

"Is it administrative and the like?" Kira continued to press the matter.

Clyde replied immediately, "Sort of."

Kira sized him up again from head to toe.

This man was so taciturn and able to manage people?

Then again, if he was really good, he wouldn't have failed to find a new job.

Kira sighed and then stared at him with glittering eyes as an idea suddenly struck her.

Clyde narrowed his eyes slightly and curled up his lips at her.

His faint smile was so rejuvenating and infatuating.

It was a waste of resources if his good appearance was not put into good use.

"Clyde, it happens that I need help in the clinic. Would you like to take a shot?" Kira curled up her lips at him, "Rest assured, I'll pay you according to your performance, so you'll have enough money to live and raise the kids."

Clyde's eyebrows furrowed, and he fell into silence.

Should he tell her that he wasn't short of money?

Getting no answer, Kira thought he was considering the salary and then continued, "Rest assured, our business is legitimate. Although currently small, it will scale up someday. By then, you'll be a senior and enjoy lots of benefits!"

Benefits?

"Will I have everything I want by then?" He asked with a smile.

"Of course, I'm the boss and live up to my words."

"Okay."

Kira smiled with her eyes curving up, "Come to the clinic with me tomorrow morning. We'll sign a formal contract."

"Mm."

After striking the deal, he got up and left.

Kira went back to sleep happily.

In the next morning, she got up, held Betty, had Henry in tow, went downstairs, and ran into Clyde.

He was wearing a set of different clothes today: a white shirt, a pair of black slim-fit pants, and a pair of simple black leather shoes.

It was a simple combination but looked valuable on his body. Now he looked even more dashing than a TV actor.

Kira couldn't help stealing a few glances at him and then seriously came up, "Let's go. My clinic is not far and only five minutes' walk away."

Under the sun, Clyde looked at her porcelain face and responded with a smile.

In a short while, they arrived at the clinic.
