Chapter 15 Losing Principles When Facing Her
She muttered in a low voice, but Ned's ruler hit the side of her arm the next second. Whitney jumped up when a bruise formed on her fair skin instantly.
She glared at the man, soon admitted defeat, and cringed behind Nancy without another word.
As his phone rang, Ned took a look and dropped the ruler on the floor.
Following a crisp sound, he looked at Nancy and spoke in a cold voice, "I wanted to give you a chance to admit your fault, but you wouldn't do it. Fine, from tomorrow on, you'll be transferred to the No.3 High School. Your personal profile will be transferred tonight."
Nancy was shocked by the sudden turn of events.
Then she took a step forward, intercepted the leaving man, and questioned, "What did I do wrong? "
Ned looked at Nancy condescendingly with a spurious smile, "A lesson for lying to me. Wrongdoers should be punished. It's my principle."
Nancy blurted out, "But I didn't lie to you."
Ned smiled, turned sideways, and brushed past her.
She chased after him in such a hurry that she grabbed the back of his collar as she went down the stairs.
Ned grabbed her wrist and yanked her forward. Then she ran into the wall at the corner of the stairs.
He put one hand near her ear and looked down at her.
When Whitney rushed over and bumped into the scene, she covered her mouth and hurriedly hid in a corner.
Nancy slightly panted from the running, "Mr. Green, even if you believe that I lied to you, you should make it clear to me."
"You still want to struggle? I do have a lot on my mind and can't distinguish the handwriting you imitated from each other."
"And..."
"But I taught her to write her name when she was little, and those are the most elegant words she could write. It's my handwriting style."
Then he headed downstairs, giving Nancy a cold shoulder.
As an idea struck her mind, Nancy ran upstairs, went back to the classroom, and flipped through Whitney's textbooks and homework. When she saw the writings of Whitney's name, she slumped into the chair.
Now she figured out how she lost.
Given Whitney's unrestrained personality, she would not write her name neatly.
Because Ned taught her how to write her name, he could recognize it among other indistinguishable words.
Whitney came in. Just now when she hid in a corner, she heard Ned's explanation.
She took a tumble and felt frustrated. If it wasn't for her negligence, Nancy wouldn't have been implicated.
Whitney frowned, "I'll find Ned! He can't be so hard on you!"
Nancy slightly shook her head, "Forget it, Whitney, we lost. No. 3 High School is not bad. I'd prefer that you find a weekend part-time job for me rather than appeal to him. Now I need money."
Whitney sat across from Nancy and held her hand, "I'll lend it to you, Nancy. I still have several thousand in my card."
Nancy shook her head, "Whitney, If I'm deeply in trouble, I'll ask you for it. Now I just need money but not borrowing it."
Whitney scratched her head and stopped insisting as she knew that Nancy had her principles.
"But I still feel guilty. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have been forced to transfer."
"It's not your fault."
Nancy suddenly looked at Whitney solemnly and asked again, "Whitney. I do want to ask you one thing. If you find that I'm not as good as you imagined one day, will you still be my friend?"
