Chapter 11 Elites from All Walks of Life

"This is the final decision after several meetings of the company."

In the room, Marjorie Dawson, a short-haired, smart office lady, sat in the chair with her lips slightly curled up and quickly glanced at Nora and Lotty.

There were two pieces of white paper on the table. The moment Nora reached out to pick one of them up, Lotty also squeezed its edge with her fingers. Instantly, the two women exchanged glances with each other, and the look in Lotty's eyes was unyielding.

Marjorie was staring at the laptop screen and did not notice what was going on between the other two women in the office. "As you know, Shine Media values talents more than anything. You two will be responsible for the magazine for the next month respectively, and the one who produces the more appealing publication will be given the position of the subeditor."

What Nora and Lotty held in their hands was the selected subject for the next month's issue.

Upon hearing the position of the subeditor, both Nora and Lotty were stunned for a second. Lotty flashed a cold smile as she raised the file in hand as if showing off her victory of the micro battle.

"Nowadays, the scale of female consumers is increasing, and the majority of our magazine's audience is advanced white collars between the age twenty-five and thirty-five. With them as the mainstream, our next month's magazine will take male elites from all walks of life as main characters. You two should be aware of our key point and make the magazine as attractive as possible."

While listening to Marjorie's introduction and thinking about dismantling the selected topic, Nora somehow recalled Alex's standoffish, ruthless countenance.

What did the man have anything to do with this?

At Marjorie's words, Lotty instantly echoed her by saying, "Ms. Dawson, you do have a point. Many of the young women nowadays are consumers of high-end products. Choosing elites from all walks of life will allure their attention to explore our contents. Also, curiosity about the opposite gender has been an immutable law ever since the primitive society."

It was not the first time Lotty flattered Marjorie. The latter nodded as she indeed agreed with Lotty's words.

"You initially have one month. But I think you'd better complete the task within half a month. As you know, we need more time to deal with the inside information of the elites to reduce potential risks. So, basically, you have no time to lose."

"Yes, Ms. Dawson!"

"Yes, Ms. Dawson."

Nora checked the terms written in the file carefully. Key expressions or words like "representative figures in various industries," "business celebrities," or "noble politicians" made her palms tighten up intuitively.

Just as Nora was thinking about possible candidates, Lotty suddenly said, "Speaking of business elites in Ann City, Alex Hoffman is probably the best representative. He is only 24 years old. One year ago, he purchased the Stock Group, the largest multinational group back then. Then, he created his own business empire. It is said that the Stock Group's scale had increased ten times under his management, which is now called the NS Group. It's fair to call him a miracle in the business world."

"Oh right, as far as I know, he is single. Such a perfect man is basically the prince charming in all women's eyes in town."
