Chapter 8 What's Your Relationship with Him?

In fact, the hug was brief and not solid. Even so, people could tell his close relationship with Eliza. His demeanor indicated their familiarity and intimacy.

"Why didn't you tell me about your presence here today? I could have prepared your favorite dishes." The tall man stood beside Eliza and said affectionately.

"Temporary decision."

Mason noticed that when Eliza talked to this man, her tone and expressions were not that cold and different from her way of conversing with him.

He knew this man. Wyatt Banks, the owner of West Island Restaurant, was an emerging young entrepreneur. The West Island chain restaurants set a bar for the industry.

"You know Mr. Burns?" Wyatt asked again in a low voice.

Eliza took an indifferent glance at Mason and replied in a cool voice, "I've heard of him, not familiar."

The corner of Wyatt's mouth twitched. This was not what he had heard. He wanted to hear it from her mouth, but she decisively denied their relationship. Since she wouldn't tell, he would not force her. After all, she was known as an independent girl.

Mason frowned imperceptibly and looked unpleasant.

Supporting Norah, Rose looked on while the others went to the bathroom tacitly, either vomiting or having loose bowels.

At such a scene, Rose chuckled to herself. This bumpkin was so bold. She went as far as being so intimate with another man under Mason's nose. She could tell his displeasure from his look. Maybe they would quarrel tonight, and she would be kicked out of the house tomorrow.

"Hi Mr. Burns, how is our food today satisfying?" As a businessman, Wyatt asked with a smile.

"Satisfied." Eliza beat him to answer blandly.

Wyatt smiled and responded cheerfully, "That's great!" His eyes were filled with indulgence.

Mason snorted and turned away without hesitation.

"Is he alright? He looks angry."

"Doesn't matter." Eliza was indifferent.

"Why didn't you tell me about your marriage? I'm caught empty-handed. When the manager told me just now, I couldn't believe it but found it improper to disturb you." Now that Mason left, Wyatt stopped his show.

"It's trivial and not worth mentioning," Eliza said in a bland voice.

The corner of Wyatt's mouth twitched. This girl hadn't changed a bit. She was indifferent to everything, including marriage, and he forced a smile.

"Okay, let me know if you need anything."

"Sure."

They didn't chat for long. Eliza got out of the restaurant three minutes later.

By the road, Mason's car was waiting for her.

She paused and then walked over.

It was a speechless trip. Mason looked frosty, and the air about him was awful. Those familiar with him would know that he got mad rarely.

In his anger, he looked terrifying. If it was another person, he should have been shivering in fear.

However, Eliza was not affected at all, as if his joy or anger didn't concern her.

Back in the villa, Eliza went straight upstairs to her room. The door was pushed open before she could close it.

With a grim look, Mason stood in the doorway with one hand on the door.

"Anything?" Eliza asked in a cool voice.

"What's your relationship with Wyatt?"
