"Well, well , well! Look what do we have here! " chirped Frayer.

"Caspian, Caspian. Where were you? " his mother shot from the back.

"Can't you see woman. He has been busy hunting. What a kill Caspian! What a kill! " Fixer silenced her immediately.

He seemed rather uneasy.

"And... What are we waiting for here? Shouldn't we be taking it to the Dark pits immediately? " He added with a smirk

"Yes! Yes! Yes! " echoed the room with resemblance to ancient gladiator like chants. Armed troops instantly marched in with some sort of nets and tried snatching Lea away from Caspian grab. Caspian sprung to Leas defence in a reflex, without realising he let the cuff go in the process. Lea quickly sneaked it back to his hands and walked right upto Fixer.

"I have an important piece of information before knowing which I think you might be reluctant to kill me" She smiled and whispered something into Fixers ears.

"Silence" He shouted"we do need to get as much information as we can out of this heinous creature before dooming it to the pits. It will be taken to the chambers with me right now. Everybody should leave immediately. You will be informed once the confessions are done. "

Lea gave Caspian a meaningful wink.She pressed a button in her hair to access the telepathic connection she and Caspian had put on before entering.

"What did you tell him? "

"I told him I could grant him access to the elixir to live forever for him and his parasitic brethren if I could open the seal stone, that is with him."

"Really? Will you be doing that? What's the plan? "

"Here, take this" Lea slipped a very very small pin shaped chip into his hand "right after I open the seal you need to plunge this inside his Jugulary vein. And you CANNOT MISS. "

Caspian nodded. As soon as they were inside, Fixer closed the main entrance. They walked down a cyan yellow corridor, before passing through a dark damp room and finaly entering a vault like entrance. As they stepped inside, it was a room that mimicked the white world they had been to. There a glass window in the end. Holograms floating all over the panel.

Fixer morphed into his true fungi form and snatched Lea from Caspian hands.

"OPEN" echoed a voice that was that of many.

Lea slowly approached the glass panel, took her hairpin out and nodded "NOW" at Caspian, before slitting her wrist and splashing the window with her blood. Caspian jumped on the deformed Fixer and pinned him right at his jugular vein. Lea pulled the shreiking fungi ans flung it right inside the black hole like portal that had opened in the glass window.

"Wo! Ho! " Caspian jumped with excitement "We did it. Finally, it's over"

Lea stared at him with a blank, lamenting smile. She bounced on him and kissed him passionately. A passionate goodbye.

"Lea! "

Caspian sensed immediately something wasn't right but before he could grab her, Lea jumped inside the portal as it closed behind her. Caspian stood motionless, staring at the glass, blank.

"Caspain" Caspain heard in Leas voice in his head as the glass flickered a bit.

"Lea" he sprung towards it from his trance"Lea! Lea!. "

"Caspian this is my fate. Always has been. Somebody had to bridge the dents inbetween the time and spaces so it would not cave it. Nothing is free. Everything needs to be balanced or it would collapse. At a heavy cost. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you before"

"Lea.Lea! Why Lea! Why! " was all he could utter as he chocked in his tears.

"The world that you dreamt of is finally here. I am sure you will take good care of it Caspian"

"Lea wait Lea. But.. " Caspian struggled to articulate words as the light started to flicker off.

"Someday.May be someday, fate will cross our paths again. Till then, it's goodbye, Caspian"

Lea thinned away in the wordless dimension as Caspian bend over the solid hard floor below.
