Chapter 6 Let Her Get in the Car

"Mr. Maddox, I hit someone." Nestor looked at the woman in a mess in front of the car, feeling a little irritated.

He wouldn't have hit her if she walked carefully.

Chris Maddox was watching the news on a laptop computer, and he looked up at him coldly, "Go take a look. Don't wait for the police if you can solve the problem with money!"

The corner of Nestor's eyes twitched. He knew that Mr. Maddox hated to spend much time on these trivial things, so he quickly got out of the car with his umbrella.

"Miss, are you okay?" Looking at the messy woman in front of him, Nestor asked worriedly.

Although this careless woman caused the accident, he didn't want any trouble since he hit her.

However, when he saw Jessica's face clearly, he couldn't help freezing and subconsciously glanced back at the car.

What a coincidence! She had thrown herself in the car!

Jessica was knocked to the ground, her white clothes quickly became messy with muddy water on the road, and her suitcase was thrown a long way.

But she didn't want to bother others. She shook her head lightly and said, "It's okay.

Nestor pursed his lips and did not move as if waiting for some instruction.

Chris in the car had put away his laptop, and he saw who the person was in the rain. A gleam of light flashed in his deep black eyes. He rubbed his chin with his index finger, and he spoke after a while.

"Nestor, let her get in the car." A low voice came from the car.

Jessica looked up, a little surprised.

"Miss, my boss is asking you to get in the car." The man called Nestor said.

The rain was getting heavier now, and it was a downpour. Jessica was so messy. Any gentleman who has a little sympathy would lend a hand.

Jessica hesitated for a while. She pulled her soaked hair away and smiled to herself, "How can I get in his car like this?"

What was more, she didn't intend to let others see how miserable she was now.

The proud daughter of a rich family ended up being as embarrassed as she was today. She did not want to see the sympathy of others.

"It's okay. Since my boss is asking you to get in the car, get in the car!" Nestor said as he took the initiative to pick up her suitcase and put it in the trunk.

"Hey!" Seeing that her luggage was taken away, Jessica screamed helplessly. But when she looked at her miserable appearance, she clenched her teeth and got up. Her ankle was so painful. She fell into the muddy water again.

"Ouch!" This time not only was her clothes dirty, but even her face was splashed with muddy water, and her delicate face suddenly became messy.

Jessica endured the pain and took a serious look at it. Her ankle was sprained, so red and swollen, which made her cry in pain.

At this time, Jessica finally understood the old saying, “when it rains, it pours.”

Upon seeing this, Nestor came back again and wanted to help her but was rejected by Jessica. She clenched her teeth and braced herself, and walked towards the car.

She was already so miserable. Could she be any more miserable?

Chris stared coldly at the woman struggling in the muddy water from start to finish. He frowned when Jessica refused Nestor's help and came to the car by herself.

Well, she was more stubborn than he had thought.
