Chapter 5 Mr. Hahn's Reward

Mr. Hahn was strong and had big lungs.

His kiss thus lasted a long time.

His chest was robust and his muscles lean.

He sat there like an iron wall.

No matter how hard she shoved him, he would not budge.

"Little thing, you're so good at hiding yourself." His lips finally moved away from her mouth and formed a smirk.

Her lips felt burning as if she just had hot chili. While stroking her swollen lips, she grumbled, "I'm no longer a child. Mr. Hahn, you can't kiss me randomly."

"Don't worry, I'll take responsibility." Kameron slightly raised his chin. His eyes were cold and penetrating.

Then he domineeringly dropped another kiss on her lips.

Janice smiled broadly, "I know, from the day you adopted me, you'd provide for me and take care of me for life."

She muttered to herself, "Mr. Hahn, I'm grateful for your kindness. I'll definitely repay you one day."

"Cut the sweet talk, it won't work on me."

Kameron raised his eyebrows, "Now explain yourself."

She knew that he considered her reputation and didn't ask her to explain in the presence of his subordinates.

Janice had to explain cautiously lest the warlord might be crossed.

She didn't want her merit to be reduced to waste.

"Sir, my parents were not ordinary people. They were the founders of the Nine Continents Chamber of Commerce. I'm their heir and naturally inherit their legacy. People from the organization found me five years ago." She said.

Kameron still smirked at her without making any comments.

While she was sitting on his lap, the awful air about him enveloped her.

Janice felt the pressure and continued to explain, "I didn't tell you because I'm inexperienced. I haven't got a solid footing in the chamber of commerce. Mr. Hahn, you have my words. It will become your agency for business and your bank for warfare."

"Heh, do I need to ask a girl for things?"

Amused by her serious speech, Kameron squeezed her tender cheek.

His hands had a thin callus from years of holding guns.

They felt a little rough.

The same pair of hands grabbed her small hands eight years ago, and she was taken in by the Marshal's House.

He took care of her and loved her dearly over the years.

She liked his hands.

Discouraged by her savior's taunt, Janice couldn't help but defend herself, "At least this time, I was helpful."

See? He despised her.

Before she thrived, she wanted to keep it from him.

He was always busy and trusted her unconditionally.

He never paid attention or pried into her privacy.

Therefore, he didn't know her identity in the Nine Continents Chamber of Commerce.

"A credit for you. What reward do you want? Except for being a poor student."

He read her fervent gaze, knowing that she was going to act like a spoiled child and tell him that she didn't like school. Therefore, he quickly stifled her illusion in the cradle.

Janice hung her head and huffed, "Well… I want nothing."

Studying was boring, and she was asked to study hard.

She had to get up early every day, which was a real trial for her.

"The anniversary of your parents' death is coming next month. I'll go with you to pay respects." His broad palm landed on her head. It felt so warm.

So soothing!
