Chapter 11 I've Had Enough Fun
"Sorry, Mr. Haney." Davian raised his eyes, apologized insincerely, and intended to pull Kimora aside. His anger hadn't been vented yet, and he certainly would not let her go!
Kimora broke free irritably, but her right hand was pulled by another force.
She looked over and met his eyes.
Murphy was not a busybody, but this woman was mysteriously attractive. He was captivated, but there was something distant about her charm.
"Mr. Haney, this is a domestic issue. You may not know, but Dr. Guthrie is my wife." Davian let go and looked sullenly at Kimora. His expression was like saying, "You just wait!"
He would make her suffer Zoie's pain!
Kimora heaved a sigh and whispered in a cold voice, "I don't want to handle any private matters during my working hours." She was a doctor. Professionalism forbad her to waste her precious time on her ridiculous marriage.
"In that case, Dr. Guthrie should go with me." Murphy's slanted eyes squinted over, and he let go calmly, "She is my brother's attending doctor, and I have business to talk with her."
Attending doctor? Davian curled his lips unscrupulously.
Was such an immoral woman even worthy?
In the past few days, he had noticed the ambiguous relationship between Murphy and Kimora. The two often stayed together, and there were times when a third person was not there.
"Mr. Haney, although Kimora is my wife, there are things I need to make clear. She is a viper who even has the heart to harm her sister. Is she really suitable to be your brother's attending doctor? You should think about it."
To Kimora's ears, his slandering was petty.
She ignored the man and turned to leave. Unexpectedly, Davian overpowered her again. Her blood boiling in her chest, she abruptly turned back and shook off his hand, "Are you done? Don't you feel ashamed?"
In the presence of Murphy, she suppressed most of her rage.
She didn't want any quarrel in the hospital or the patients' complaints.
"Mad?" Davian curled his lips, happy to see her angry face. In the end, he let go and looked leisurely at Murphy, "She deprived a girl of her right to be a mother. Mr. Haney, a piece of advice, you'd better change the attending doctor. A person like Kimora should be expelled. She doesn't deserve the qualification to be a doctor!"
He denigrated her over and over again. Kimora somewhat cared.
She was wronged about the matter with Zoie. She didn't abuse public power to retaliate against a personal enemy at all!
For any pregnant woman lying on the bed that day, removing the uterus was the best option. As a doctor, she adopted the best plan even though her sister and husband cheated on her. She did everything she could to save Zoie. What made Davian think he could vent his spleen on her over and over again?
Thanks to Murphy's presence, he didn't have a chance to act up, otherwise, it would be another war.
Kimora had been fed up with the endless war and wondered when she would be set free…
"We should get divorced." She said so calmly as if she had never cared about the marriage papers. If Cedric didn't insist on uniting through marriage, she wouldn't have married a man like Davian.
Murphy watched the scene and showed no intention of leaving.
Because of his presence, Davian found it hard to act harshly and only smirked contemptuously.
