It was dark and rainy as she drove into the LA VIGO hotel. She stepped out of the car and hurried into the reception. She was clothed in a black raincoat and boots to shield her body from the rain.

She spoke a few words with the receptionist who directed her to room 307.

As she walked through the stairs leading to the room, she could hear the sounds of torrential rains accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms.

She hated going out when it's rainy, but she had to do it tonight for the sake of the man she loved.

Ever since the last encounter with her parents, Dave had refused to pick her calls, and she was worried since she hadn't heard from him. She knew he was angry and he had every right to, she reasoned as she approached the room which was on the second floor of the building.

She heaved a sigh and knocked on the door. She waited for some seconds before she heard the door creaking.

She smiled as she saw his broad figure standing before her. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

"Hi" she managed to speak on seeing the cold look on his face.

He walked into the room without a response and she immediately followed after him.

The room was warm and cozy. The lights were dim and she could see how neatly arranged the whole place looked. She stood by the door as he walked towards the window blind and stood with his back facing her.

"Baby come on, aren't you happy to see me?" She asked as she took off the raincoat which she hung beside the door.

He didn't respond and she walked closer to him and wrapped her arms around his back. She leaned her body on his and he shifted a bit.

"I'm sorry love, but you've got to understand it wasn't my fault. You need to stand behind me now that I really need you" she said tenderly.

"The embarrassment was just too much for me to take. I shouldn't have gone there to meet them, it was all a waste!!" He yelled.

"And is that why you haven't been taking my calls?" She asked as she shifted away from him.

"What do you expect me to do? I was totally mad, I mean it's crazy!!" He yelled as he turned to face her.

"Baby but you knew what you were up against, you know it's never gonna be easy. Youu wanna give up on me now?" She asked soberly as she stared at his angry face.

He kept mute and turned his face to the window again.

"I guess I'm not welcome here, let me just go home" she said with tears clouding her white bulgy eyes.

She turned back and was about walking to the door when he rushed towards her and grabbed her body from behind.

He plunged his lips into hers immediately and she wrapped her arms on his neck immediately. The moment became tense as he moved her slowly to the bed with their lips still locked together.

He made her lie on the bed and he laid on her body as he continued to kiss her tenderly.

She let out a moan as he moved his lips to her earlobes and then to her neck. He tried to raise up the black top she was wearing but then she stopped him.

He stopped immediately and rolled to the other side of the bed. She turned to face him and she could see him staring at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry" she said with a wry smile

"When will you let me? When will you let me see your perfection? It's been years now baby, you still don't trust me or what?" He asked with a little time of anger.

She smiled and leaned on his chest.

"When the time is right baby, when we get married you can have me all to yourself" she said as she caressed his chest.

"But you can see all that has been happening recently, I'm…"

"You what? So you think we're not gonna end up together right?" She asked.

"Not that love, I'm just scared. I don't wanna lose you to anybody" he said as he caressed her back.

"We won't lose each other. Jason and I are working on it" she said

"For how long is this gonna take? Your parents are really strict about this issue," He complained

"I know love, but don't worry, it's only going to take a few time and I believe we'll be done with this and we will be together soon" She assured.

"What if we elope?" He asked and she kept silent.

"Um.. I know it's a great idea, but there could be consequences which I'm scared of" she said worriedly.

"Like?" He asked as he turned to look at her.

"Love, let's just work things out first. If it doesn't go as planned, then we'll have no other option but to elope" She said and he sighed

He sat up on the bed and she sat up too and placed her elbow on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry for acting like a jerk earlier," He apologized and she blushed.

She knelt on the bed and wrapped her arms around his neck with her body pressing against him from behind.

She leaned on his shoulder and smiled.

"I love you baby, and no matter what, promise me you'll never leave me" She pleaded.

"I promise you my love," he said and she pecked him.

He tried to grab her body again but she pushed him away.

"Baby stop" she laughed as she fell on the bed.

"Your body is so tempting, I can't wait to savor this perfect chocolate skin in front of me" he fantasized and she laughed.

"As soon as all this is over, we'll get married and you can have me anytime, any day" she said and he smiled

"I wish that boy Jason, doesn't have to be in the way" he said and she laughed

"So we should kill him?" She asked jokingly.

"If that's the only option then why not?" He asked

"

Love!!" She exclaimed with her eyes popping from the sockets

"Just kidding" he giggled and she made a sigh of relief.

"Will it be right if I meet him?" he asked.

She smiled and raised her head.

"That would be a great idea, love" she smiled and pecked his cheek.
